Ochromycinone (STA-21, STA21, (Rac)-STA-21)，又稱抑胃酶氨酰-21，是STAT3的選擇性抑制劑，具有抗炎、抗癌和抗菌活性。Ochromycinone通過抑制STAT3的DNA結合活性和二聚化來抑制STAT3活性。

（一）細胞實驗（體外實驗）

Ochromycinone (20 or 30 μM)有效的抑制了乳腺癌腫瘤細胞系的生長和存活，比如表達活化STAT的3MDA-MB-231，MDA-MB-435s以及MDA-MB-468細胞。^[1] 在RH30和RD2細胞中，Ochromycinone通過調節caspases 3、8、9抑制細胞活性和生長，同時誘導細胞凋亡。^[2] 

（二）動物實驗（體內實驗）

在IL-1Ra–KO小鼠模型中，腹腔注射STA-21 (0.5 mg/kg)通過減少Th17細胞的比例以及增加表達有FoxP3的Treg細胞比例，降低了風濕病評分以及風濕病的發病范圍。^[3]
